Day 3, Anna’s Breakfast
First of all, let me show you what I did NOT eat:

I resisted the delicious meeting donuts. It was hard…that congealed sugar coating was calling my name. No, instead I ate my pre-planned breakfast. Since it’s a “no carb” day, that means eggs. The menu actually called for mini mushroom and turkey sausage quiches. I didn’t want mushrooms so I eliminated that right off the bat. Then I noticed the muffin tray was nasty and needed a good wash, if not to be thrown out entirely. Then I noticed the milk had gone bad. I ended up just mixing what ingredients I had left (turkey sausage, cheese, eggs) and putting then in a baking dish and baking them until they looked non-raw. When I got to work, I reheated some and doused it in salsa:

Not bad. Certainly not a donut, but definitely not horrific.
8g carbs, 12g protein.
